This is the question almost nobody asks and it is the most useful one. If your recurring cleaner also handles your move out, they already know the house, they know what was maintained and what was not, and the final clean takes less time.
Ask whether existing clients get a different rate on the move out. Many companies have one and never mention it.
Can you work from a key or code after I leave the state
Relocations frequently end with one spouse gone and a house still needing to be closed out. A company that can finish the job without you present is solving a real problem.
The case for recurring service during a short assignment
There is a temptation, when you know you are leaving, to skip recurring cleaning and just do a big clean at the end. For most families this costs more, not less.
A house that gets regular attention for two years needs a straightforward move out clean. A house that got none needs a restoration, and restoration pricing is a different category. Grease that has been accumulating on a range hood for twenty months is a different job than grease from three weeks.
The other part is harder to put a number on. A PCS or a corporate relocation is already a demanding period. Removing one recurring obligation from the household is worth something on its own.
